My two wheeled journey started on motorbikes, but after watching the Fort William World Cup in 2002 I was instantly hooked and made the transition to MTB’ing...
My bike has taken me around and I love nothing more than discovering new riding locations, but these days there is nowhere quite like home as I balance Dad life with riding, travelling and sharing stories through videography and photography!
After watching the Fort William World Cup aged 12, I was hooked. It began simply, we’d build jumps up in the local community woodland and each day make them bigger and bigger, the progression was real.
I’d grown up riding Motorcycle Trials with my Dad and the competitive nature of it lead me to competing in Downhill. The first race didn’t bring much success, in fact, I didn’t finish! After a few years racing regional events here in Scotland, I progressed to National events and set sights on racing World Cups; I competed in my first as a Junior in 2018 and from there balanced MTB racing with studying Mechanical Engineering.
When Enduro came around I jumped at it. It seemed a really natural progression as I regularly rode my trail bike for training. In 2014 I joined a factory team and raced two full seasons of the Enduro World Series - it was amazing and I have so many memories of riding some of the best trails. This sparked a whole new love for the sport and I began discovering where my bike could really take me and big mountain adventures soon became my thing.
When racing ended, I joined GMBN as a presenter and I learned about the growth in the new digital world. After producing 400+ videos I decided to make my own way in to the world and began a new chapter in content creation and storytelling… Now I’ve partnered with some of the best brands in the industry and work with them on sharing stories and showcasing where your mountain bike can take you!
